About the Friends of Pohick
The charter meeting of the Friends of the Pohick Regional Library was held in March 1988. The organization was granted 501(C)(3) status in 1998. The Friends view the book sales not only as a way to provide revenue for the Library, but as a service that is truly appreciated by the community. The Friends view their role as partners with the staff of the Pohick Regional Library, Library Administration and the community.
